Activity Title: Turn-taking/Commenting Topic Boards

Short Description: These are topic boards that can be used with nonverbal or minimally verbal students during games. They are designed to increase spontaneous commenting during games with peers.
Standards or goals: Sample IEP objectives: The student will take turns in games and social routines with 80% accuracy for 3 days.
The student will independently use his communication device or topic board within social exchanges, such as conversations, morning meeting, and games, with adults and peers in 75% of opportunities for 3 days.
